Richard is a member of the SysOps team at Puppet Labs with a focus on public and private-cloud technologies including AWS and OpenStack. Prior to joining Puppet Labs, Richard has served in a variety of architectural and operational roles at companies such as Concur Technologies (now part of SAP) and Microsoft. Richard hails from Portland, OR by way of Seattle, WA and (originally) Western Michigan. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter (and assorted animal friends), strategy gaming, and having very strong opinions on almost everything.
